BlueFlag LLC seeks a Senior Data Scientist to transform operational problems into production ML solutions on Databricks in Azure. You will collaborate with internal clients, migrate workloads, and deploy models for batch and real-time serving, driving measurable improvements in performance and cost.

The role is hands-on and requires experience taking models from notebooks to production, plus ability to explain results to leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 15 years of experience, or commensurate experience.
• Proficient in Python and advanced SQL for data analysis.
• 2+ years hands-on with a leading cloud data platform such as Databricks, Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Consult with internal clients to frame problems as analytical or ML problems and set metrics.
• Build data products and workflows from discovery to production deployment.
• Migrate workloads from legacy environments to Python and Databricks with measurable gains.
• Develop, train, and validate ML models for complex business problems.
• Deploy models for batch and real-time serving; automate retraining with CI/CD.
