BlueFlag LLC seeks a Senior Data Scientist to transform operational problems into production ML solutions on Databricks in Azure. You will collaborate with internal clients, framing problems, building data products, and deploying models with CI/CD.

The role is hands-on and emphasizes production-grade models, feature pipelines, and responsible AI practices, with opportunities to shape AI adoption for federal-like workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in a technical field and strong years in data science.
• Experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling.
• Hands-on cloud data platform experience (Databricks/Azure/AWS/GCP) required.
• End-to-end data science workflow including experiment tracking and model management.

Responsabilités

• Frame business problems as analytical/ML problems with clear success metrics
• Build data products and workflows from discovery to production
• Migrate workloads to Python and Databricks with measurable gains
• Develop, train, validate ML models for complex problems
• Engineer features and pipelines with PySpark and SQL
• Track experiments and manage model versions with MLflow
• Deploy models for batch and real-time serving with CI/CD
• Monitor production models and trigger retraining when needed
• Lead AI adoption including LLM/RAG and document summarization
• Evaluate outputs for accuracy, groundedness, safety
• Document models for governance and review
• Create tutorials and reference code to drive cloud adoption
• Host office hours and upskill client analysts
• Present findings to technical and non-technical leadership
