A strong foundation in statistics and Python/SQL is essential, with Spark/Databricks as a strong plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science or quantitative analytics with impact on revenue or pricing.
• Strong foundation in statistics and model selection justification.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; Spark/Databricks a strong plus.
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production.
• Comfort with messy real-world transactional data.
• Ability to work independently from problem to deployed solution.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve predictive pricing models at multiple levels (customer, market, category).
• Apply regression, survival analysis, elasticity, and Bayesian methods to study pricing impact.
• Analyze rate performance across markets and segments to identify revenue opportunities.
• Design and run A/B and quasi-experiments to measure pricing effects.
• Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations with Pricing, Sales, and Finance.
• Develop feature pipelines and monitor models to maintain accuracy over time.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
