Job summary

Kinect in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Data Scientist to join a high-impact revenue science team. This production-focused role is embedded in an active system build, not a research position, delivering pricing, demand forecasting, and inventory decisions at scale.

You'll work with yield management, engineering, and external data partners to deploy models, design experiments, and maintain data pipelines on Databricks and Spark, presenting results to business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data science experience in production
• Proficient in Python and SQL
• Experience with Databricks and Spark in a production environment
• Pricing, forecasting, demand modeling, or inventory optimization experience
• Familiarity with time series methods and causal/experimental design
• Strong communication with business stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy predictive models into a live revenue management system
• Apply ML techniques for pricing, forecasting, and inventory decisions
• Design and run experiments to evaluate new features
• Collaborate with yield management and engineering teams
• Maintain data pipelines and model infrastructure on Databricks and Spark
• Present results to non-technical stakeholders
