Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to support a government customer in Arlington, VA. The role requires expert data science knowledge to evaluate the Counternarcotics program and to develop a robust MOE framework.

The candidate will design data pipelines, build predictive models, and produce executive dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders, including ONDCP and Congressional committees. A Ph.D. or higher in a quantitative field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced statistical, mathematical, and ML theory with practical application to large-scale programs.
• Experience designing full data science lifecycle: data collection, processing, modeling, evaluation, deployment.
• Strong programming in Python/R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Ability to translate complex data findings for leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level data science expertise to evaluate CN program effectiveness.
• Develop MOEs and analyze large, disparate datasets to identify trends and outcomes.
• Build predictive models to forecast threat activities and optimize resources.
• Create data pipelines and dashboards for executive review and briefing to ONDCP and Congress.
• Establish enterprise data standards and best practices across government data environments.
• Collaborate with interagency partners to enable data sharing and consensus on technical requirements.
