Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC seeks a Sr. Data Scientist to support a government program in Arlington, VA. You will lead data science initiatives, design MOEs, and create predictive models to forecast threat activity, while building secure data pipelines and executive dashboards for ONDCP and Congress.

The role requires an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) and experience in DoW/IC environments, with strong communication and policy-aware data governance skills.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree holders preferred; PhD highly preferred.
• Expert-level ML, statistics, and data science lifecycle experience.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior DoW/USG staff.
• Experience with secure DoW/IC data environments and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level data science expertise to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Design MOEs framework and analyze large, disparate datasets.
• Develop predictive models and ML algorithms for threat forecasting.
• Build data pipelines and executive dashboards; draft data-driven briefs.
• Standards for data collection and analysis across enterprise.
