ManTech seeks a Senior Data Scientist to join its Springfield, VA team. The role focuses on data analysis, visualization, and software to manage data pipelines and imagery curation. Strong background in AI/ML and Python is required, with extensive experience across ETL and data systems.

The position supports national security objectives with a mix of statistical methods, model development, and cross-domain data integration, offering opportunities for impact and growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
• Experience with AI/ML technologies and data systems.
• Experience with multiple file types including geospatial formats, JSON, XML.
• 3+ years of quantitative analysis, visualization, and processing complex data with ETL, SQL/NoSQL.
• Development experience in Python for data cleaning and manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Integrate sensors and platforms into data pipelines and build data structures.
• Assess metadata/data format differences for ETL changes during integration.
• Analyze sensor data impact on ML model development and operational use-cases.
• Partition training, test, and validation splits for ML model development and evaluation.
• Lead design and application of methods to process large data volumes and analytics workflows.
• Build web scraping algorithms for imagery curation per customer priorities.
• Integrate multiple data sources for imagery curation to meet priorities.
• Support ETL, data cleansing, and analyst workflow efficiencies.
