Job summary

MANTECH is seeking talented Senior Data Scientists to join the Defense and Intelligence Business unit. You will develop and deploy machine learning, data mining, and statistical models to address complex challenges for the Intelligence Community.

You will lead a team of data scientists, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and work closely with clients and technical staff to drive data-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Proficiency with Python and R.
• Experience using large data sets to solve problems.
• Knowledge of machine learning, data wrangling, and advanced statistical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning, data mining, statistical, and graph-based algorithms to analyze large and complex datasets.
• Prototype and evaluate multiple algorithms, selecting the final model based on performance metrics.
• Design experiments or models when training data is unavailable.
• Generate reports and visualizations that provide actionable insights for clients.
• Translate complex data analyses into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to automate data analysis and integrate analytics into production frameworks.
• Assess clients' preparedness to integrate data analytics into operations across technical, cultural, and workforce aspects.
• Stay current with emerging tools and techniques in ML and data analytics.
