Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on data science experience, including client-facing or forward-deployed work.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML/data libraries; solid SQL skills.
• Proven track record taking models from prototype to production.
• Solid grasp of statistical modeling, experimental design, model evaluation, and data debugging.
• Experience with large-scale datasets using distributed tools like Spark.
• Comfort with cloud environments (GCP, AWS).
• Strong code hygiene and ability to explain data decisions to stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in fast-moving, unstructured environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scoping, development, and deployment of end-to-end ML/Statistical solutions for complex operational problems.
• Frame ambiguous business challenges with clients, explore solution paths, and translate insights into measurable results.
• Build, test, and deploy models that run reliably in production environments.
• Analyze large datasets from diverse sources to inform model design and evaluate performance.
• Design and run experiments (A/B tests) to measure product and business impact.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into deployable systems.
• Develop reusable tooling/infrastructure to speed future model development.
• Mentor data scientists and promote best practices for code quality and experimentation.
