Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in economics, statistics, public policy, education research, or related quantitative field.
• Mastery of quantitative modeling methods including causal inference, meta-analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Experience building analytical models to inform investment or program strategy decisions in education or social policy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core impact accounting models—including effect-size extraction frameworks and cost-effectiveness estimates.
• Lead predictive modeling and forward-looking analysis at strategy and body-of-work levels.
• Contribute to Insights Engine for AI Effectiveness by synthesizing research and pilot data to surface patterns and risks.
• Ensure reproducibility and equity across all modeling approaches and audit methods.
• Partner with program officers to apply insights in portfolio planning and grant design.
• Translate complex model outputs into accessible implications for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with measurement, learning, and evaluation to integrate outputs into governance processes.
• Identify gaps in analytical infrastructure and initiate actions to develop new modeling capabilities.
