The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation seeks a data-driven professional to build and maintain impact accounting models that inform investment decisions across strategy. You will develop predictive models and cost-effectiveness estimates, ensuring reproducibility and equity in all analytical work.

You will collaborate with program teams to translate insights into actionable guidance, supporting governance and strategy across multiple initiatives within education and social impact domains.

Formación

• Advanced degree or equivalent in economics, statistics, public policy, education research, or related quantitative field.
• Mastery of quantitative modeling methods including causal inference, meta-analysis, effect-size estimation, cost-effectiveness analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Experience building analytical models that inform investment or program strategy decisions in education or social policy.
• Experience translating complex quantitative findings for non-technical audiences.
• Experience documenting reproducibility standards and equity assessment of model outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain core impact accounting models and scenario analysis tools.
• Lead predictive modeling and forward-looking analysis for portfolio decisions.
• Synthesize research and pilot data to surface patterns, risks, and opportunities for portfolio direction.
• Ensure reproducibility and equity across modeling approaches with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with program officers to translate insights into grant design and planning.
• Translate model outputs into accessible implications for non-technical audiences and leadership.
• Integrate impact accounting outputs into strategy learning and governance processes.
• Identify gaps in analytical infrastructure and develop new modeling capabilities.
