Job summary

Rocket Money is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance marketing efficiency and experimentation through LTV modeling, media mix attribution, and causal impact assessments. You will lead product scientific experimentation programs, including building tooling for self-service product and CRM experiments.

You will drive the design of scalable data pipelines, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product and engineering to align data strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in data science.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (e.g., Python).
• Strong statistical modeling and ML experimentation skills.
• Experience building production-grade tooling for operational use.
• Ability to drive marketing strategy with experimental data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build the next generation of Rocket Money’s customer lifetime value models and integrate into the operational decision making and optimization of our marketing portfolio.
• Support internal marketing effectiveness measurement and estimation approaches.
• Lead projects from start to finish — balancing technical and business goals with stakeholders.
• Design and conduct experiments to estimate the impact of marketing and product strategies; create scalable experimentation programs.
• Build scalable ML pipelines with data engineering and analytics teams to support experimentation operations.
• Mentor teammates, participate in code reviews, and ensure quality in production systems.
