Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is seeking a Core Data Scientist to create high-quality analytics solutions for the TikTok app, enabling business growth. You will analyze campaigns, explore data sources, and communicate insights to stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions.

You will design core metrics, monitor performance, and build advanced analytics including AI models to improve outcomes. On-site in Los Angeles, strong SQL/Python/R skills are valued.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other science and engineering fields.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience navigating and working with large data sets using SQL.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, learn autonomously, and highly organized.
• Ability to conduct rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct campaign and operations analytics to provide data-driven recommendations that support day-to-day operations and drive growth
• Deep dive into data sources, understand their limitations, and communicate complex data insights through exploratory analysis and research to suggest improvement
• Design and monitor core metrics, facilitate goal setting, and conduct performance evaluation; understand root causes of metric movements
• Design and build advanced analytical solutions and models, including leveraging AI technologies, to deliver superior business outcomes
