Job summary

TikTok USDS Joint Venture LLC is hiring a data scientist/product analytics professional to partner with product, engineering, and growth teams in defining core KPIs and early-stage metrics. You will analyze user behavior, run experiments, and deliver insights that influence product roadmaps for U.S.

market entry. The role emphasizes building scalable data pipelines and dashboards with a strong analytics foundation, while communicating findings to both global teams and local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in quantitative field or related area.
• 3+ years of data science or product analytics experience for consumer apps.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one data analysis language (Python or R).
• Strong understanding of statistics, experimental design, and core metrics.

Responsibilities

• Define 0→1 metrics with product and growth teams for early-stage products.
• Analyze early user behavior, funnels, and retention to guide roadmaps.
• Design and analyze A/B tests to validate features and localization efforts.
• Collaborate with data engineering to build scalable pipelines and dashboards.
• Present findings clearly to global engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.
