Job summary

PBG's McLean, VA office is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support a federal government client’s evolving data needs through advanced analytics, ML, and forecasting. Lead complex analyses, shape data-driven solutions, and enhance data quality, security, and accessibility.

The role requires translating technical findings into actionable insights for Government officials and policymakers, with leadership in M&E data ecosystems and Power BI deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong Python, R, and SQL skills with experience in statistical modeling and ML.
• Experience building reproducible analytics with clear documentation.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau).
• Ability to communicate complex analyses to policymakers.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth data analyses and visualizations to inform policy decisions.
• Design and validate statistical and ML models for mission data.
• Standardize analytics methods and ensure reproducible analyses.
• Partner with stakeholders to frame questions and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Develop Power BI dashboards and reports for partners and leadership.
• Translate findings into clear dashboards for government officials.
