Job summary

Amazon seeks a Data Scientist III in the Devices Software & Services group to champion data-driven decisions affecting millions of customers. You will apply machine learning, statistics, and experimentation to shape strategy and deliver actionable insights across teams.

You will build models, set standards for reproducible analyses, and mentor others while solving high-impact problems and communicating results clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data querying languages, scripting languages, or statistical software.
• 4+ years of data scientist experience.
• Experience with statistical models such as multinomial logistic regression.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of data science solutions for complex or ambiguous problems to deliver measurable impact.
• Evaluate cross-team perspectives and model interactions to recommend data science strategy and methods.
• Drive best practices, build reproducible models, and share analyses across the team.
• Mentor and develop other data scientists through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Identify gaps in metrics and propose new measurements or data sources to resolve root causes.
