Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the CX Consumer Analytics team to drive revenue calibration, experimentation, and behavioral insights that link support interactions to asset accumulation. You will collaborate with Analytics Engineers, PMs, and Product to translate data into executive-ready insights and improve retention and adoption.

The role emphasizes production-grade accuracy, responsible AI use, and the development of classification pipelines, with quarterly in-person surges

Qualifications

BA/BS in a quantitative field with 5 years of relevant experience or PhD with 3 years.
Experience building revenue attribution or causal impact models.
Proficiency applying statistics including A/B testing, causal inference, and ML.
Experience designing/deploying LLM-based classification or NLP pipelines.
Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders with clear narratives.
Responsible use of generative AI tools in daily workflows.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve CX’s revenue calibration models translating support data into revenue signals.
Design and run causal inference experiments to measure CX program impact.
Build and maintain LLM-powered classification pipelines for CX data.
Collaborate with CX PMs and Product to define segmentation and signals.
Maintain statistical rigor for executive reporting and regulatory defensibility.
