Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the CX Consumer Analytics team. You will own revenue calibration models and causal inference frameworks, translating CX interactions into financial signals to drive retention and product adoption.

You will build LLM-powered classifiers, collaborate with CX engineers, PMs, and product teams, and ensure rigorous analyses suitable for executive review and regulatory defensibility.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in a quantitative field.
• Experience building revenue attribution or causal impact models and driving data science projects.
• Proficiency in applying statistics (A/B testing, causal inference) to business problems with production-grade rigor.
• Experience designing and deploying NLP/LLM pipelines for operational/customer use cases.
• Ability to translate model outputs into clear, actionable narratives for executives.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve CX's Downstream Impact of Support (DSI) revenue calibration models.
• Design causal inference experiments to measure CX program impact on retention and engagement.
• Build and maintain LLM-powered classification pipelines for CX taxonomy and issue attribution.
• Partner with product teams to define segmentation models and behavioral signals.
• Maintain statistical rigor for executive reporting and regulatory defensibility.
