Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to join the Customer Success Data Science team, focusing on the Business Tax product. You will lead data-driven strategies to measure expert-led interventions, drive adoption, and improve customer outcomes across the tax lifecycle.

You will design experiments, build predictive models, and create dashboards to inform product decisions and investments in expert capacity, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer value.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product analytics or customer care analytics, or other applied analytics roles, ideally with exposure to expert-assisted or high-touch service models.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, big data technologies (e.g., Redshift, Spark, Hive, BigQuery, Databricks), and BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, Dash). Qlik certification is a bonus.
• Deep expertise in experimentation design (A/B/n, bandits, painted-door) and causal inference methods; able to apply causal methods when experiments aren’t feasible.
• Understanding of AI-native architectures and GenAI platforms; assess implications for expert workflows, customer interactions, and measurement.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate strategy into testable hypotheses and a learning agenda.
• Strong data storytelling skills; ability to rapidly construct impactful visualizations and influence leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical, business, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Measure Customer Experience Impact: translate expert-touch initiatives into filing behavior, product adoption, and lifetime value.
• Strategic Recommendations: provide actionable guidance using diverse data sets to support investment decisions.
• Define KPIs and Success Metrics for expert engagements and Business Tax outcomes.
• Data Visualizations: create clear visuals for product, operations, and leadership stakeholders.
• Experimentation and A/B Testing: design and analyze tests to optimize expert engagement timing, channel, and content.
• Predictive Analytics and Modeling: identify customers who benefit most from expert engagement and uncover growth opportunities.
• Enable Self-Serve Analytics: define metrics, reports, and dashboards in collaboration with Data Engineering.
• AI/GenAI Integration: measure impact of AI-assisted tools on outcomes and satisfaction.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with product, operations, marketing, and support teams.
