Job summary

Coursera is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the Enterprise CX team in the United States. You will conduct deep-dive analyses, diagnose metric shifts, and apply practical modeling to improve customer retention and revenue growth.

You will self-serve data pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impact. Using SQL, Python, and tools like dbt and Airflow, you’ll build dashboards, measure causal impact through experiments, and provide actionable insights to Customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in data science, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant data science experience with end-to-end analytics and practical modeling.
• Proficiency in applied statistics, ML, causal inference, A/B testing, forecasting, and regression.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep-dive analyses to diagnose metric shifts and uncover actionable trends in customer behavior.
• Develop predictive models (e.g., churn or upsell) that inform Customer Success workflows.
• Build data pipelines and simple dashboards when needed, collaborating with Data Engineering and BI teams.
• Establish and maintain KPIs for customer success and drive actionable insights.
• Support renewals analytics, churn monitoring, and revenue trend analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
