Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics or Technology with 8+ years in Predictive Analytics
• Experience applying data transformation techniques (exact and probabilistic matching, fuzzy matching, text mining, data reduction)
• Experience with Hadoop/Hive/Pig/Java/SQL/Python for data mining and modelling

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance models for crop insurance business
• Identify and integrate external data sources for predictive analytics
• Analyze and report on crop products requiring modeling for pricing, yield, and performance
• Refresh profitability models at county and crop levels to guide appetite
• Monitor and streamline premium estimation models
• Maintain and enhance fund designation models
• Run scenario modeling on RMA products to assess profitability
• Manage Review Project using historical data, state mix, county plan level and industry data
