Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to partner with stakeholders and lead advanced analytics initiatives. The role will design data models, develop predictive models, and translate insights into actionable business decisions.

The candidate will build production ML systems, mentor colleagues, and explore diverse data sources while communicating results to both technical and non-technical audiences. This is a fulltime on-site opportunity in the United States.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science, economics, or related quantitative field.
• 10 years of related experience including 3 years in predictive modeling and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python or R and SQL with reproducible coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Builds, prototypes, and deploys machine learning models in production.
• Collaborates with product, technology, and stakeholders to scope data science projects.
• Communicates modeling findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Designs end-to-end ETL pipelines integrating data from multiple sources.
• Explores new data sources and assesses commercial benefit.
• Mentors team members and serves as a subject matter expert.
