Job summary

Meta is seeking a Data Scientist in its Ranking AI group within the Monetization division. You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and more to turn data into strategic product decisions, delivering value at scale.

You will build hypotheses, apply rigorous analytics, and tell data-driven stories that influence roadmaps and investment decisions, helping products scale while maintaining ethical AI practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of work analytics experience (4 years with a Ph.D.).
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience with data querying languages (SQL), scripting (Python), and statistical software (R).

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex datasets to solve challenging problems using various analytical approaches.
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data presentation to develop product strategies for billions of users and hundreds of millions of businesses.
• Measure success of product efforts through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics.
