Job summary

Meta’s Ranking AI team within the Monetization group is seeking a Data Scientist, Analytics (Ranking, AI) to partner across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Finance to drive product insights and impact at scale.

You will work with large complex datasets, apply statistical methods, design experiments, and help define product strategy and roadmaps based on data. A strong quantitative background and 6+ years analytics experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 6 years analytics experience (4 years with a Ph.D.).
• Experience with SQL, Python, and/or R for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Work with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using analytical approaches.
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data-driven storytelling to influence product strategy.
• Identify and measure success of product efforts through forecasting and key metrics.
• Define opportunities to improve the product and drive roadmaps with insights.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to inform and execute strategy.
