Job summary

Ford in Dearborn, MI is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for the Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDIA) team. Hybrid role with four days onsite weekly, leveraging AI, ML and optimization to drive data-powered decisions across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to translate business needs into analytics products and ensure delivery against Ford’s goals using modern cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in quantitative fields or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Python, SQL, ML, AI, optimization/simulation or statistics.
• 3+ years delivering analytics solutions.
• 3+ years experience with Agile team methodology.

Responsibilities

• Designing, training, and fine-tuning AI models to solve business problems.
• Deploying models to production and integrating into apps.
• Building and maintaining data analytics infrastructure and pipelines.
• Collaborating with Data Engineers and Software Engineers to delivery analytics products.
• Interacting with business partners to ensure relevance of products.
