Job summary

DHL Express, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a Data Scientist to deliver analytics products end-to-end, lead data analytics and AI initiatives, and derive requirements for statistical, machine learning, and GenAI methods.

You will work with internal customers and senior leaders to translate insights into business impact. Responsibilities include project management, data collection and cleansing, model development and deployment, and ongoing collaboration with IT to monitor performance in production

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in Data Science or related field.
• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Experience leading analytics projects and guiding teams.
• Strong knowledge of ML, statistics and AI/GenAI models including prompt engineering.
• Proven ability to deploy and monitor ML/AI solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Execute data science/AI projects and guide project teams.
• Analyze business processes to derive analytical requirements.
• Identify and collect required data and perform cleansing.
• Develop and support ML/GenAI models to address business challenges.
• Interpret model results and prepare for management discussions.
• Collaborate with IT to deploy, monitor, and improve analytics in production.
