KoBold Metals is seeking senior staff to senior data scientist roles to build predictive models for ore-forming processes and to predict mineralization locations in 2D and 3D. You will help assemble a worldwide dataset supporting exploration and quantify uncertainty in data and predictions.

You will work with world-renowned geoscientists and other data scientists and engineers to create 2D/3D geologic predictions, design field programs, and reduce uncertainty guiding field work.

Competenze

• Proficiency with Python data science libraries and software development practices.
• Experience collaborating on data-driven geoscience projects and handling large datasets.

Mansioni

• Develop KoBold's proprietary exploration tools.
• Curate and integrate geophysical, geochemical, geologic, and geographic data.
• Build models to predict ore-forming anomalies and mineralization locations.
• Create visualizations to evaluate model performance and underlying data features.
• Apply data processing, statistical, and physics-based techniques to geoscientific data.
• Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders.
