Job summary

KoBold Metals is seeking a Senior Geochemist to lead geochemical sampling, QA/QC, and integration with data science across global exploration programs. You will design sampling campaigns, oversee drilling geochemistry, and collaborate with geoscientists and software engineers to advance analytical tools in field settings.

The role requires leading field campaigns, cross-regional collaboration, and training field teams while implementing KoBold standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in the mineral exploration industry.
• Experience designing and executing surface geochemical programs across multiple terrains and cover settings.
• Experience running geochemical side of drilling programs, from sampling to interpretation.
• Strong quality control for sampling and familiarity with the Theory of Sampling.
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Embed geochemist for exploration programs across North America, Europe, and Africa and influence hypotheses quickly.
