BioMarin’s Technical Operations group seeks a Data Scientist to deliver high-value Data/AI solutions across Technical Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain. The role centers on Integrated Technical Data Strategy, applying advanced analytics, ML/AI, and GenAI across regulated biotech environments.

The position emphasizes collaboration with SMEs, data/platform teams, and IT to improve data reliability, speed decision-making, and process robustness in TOPS.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Data Science, CS, Statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years delivering Data/AI solutions in industry.
• Strong SQL and Python for data wrangling and modeling.
• Experience with ML/AI model development and deployment.
• Experience with BI tools and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI opportunities across Development, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Lead end-to-end data science projects with stakeholders and teams.
• Build and operationalize AI solutions and GenAI pipelines.
• Develop dashboards and narratives to communicate insights to engineers and executives.
