As part of the analytics team, you will work directly with real customer issues and data generated in real time. Your role involves analyzing large datasets, with your insights being leveraged to create significant value for our clients. You will have opportunities to train on various data tools, manipulate our machine learning platform, and contribute to building operational models. Responsibilities

  1. Develop advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance our proprietary modeling platform, extracting greater value from data for our clients.
  2. Refine and adapt our machine learning models to fit diverse customer scenarios and company visions.
  3. Identify and incorporate new data sources, such as the US Census Bureau, to expand and validate our data assets.
  4. Use tools like PySpark, R, Python, or Excel to clean and prepare data for analysis and modeling.
  5. Perform descriptive and statistical analyses to uncover valuable patterns, guiding customer decisions creatively and effectively.
  6. Assist in preparing presentations and materials to demonstrate insights and educate clients on our methods.
  7. Present findings and models to clients, acting as a technical expert and industry advocate.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science, with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  2. Experience working with large datasets and developing models to solve real-world problems; familiarity with insurance data is a plus.
  3. Deep understanding of statistical modeling, including parameter tuning and model evaluation.
  4. Proficiency in Python or R; familiarity with PySpark and Excel.
  5. Strong analytical thinking, independence, and logical reasoning skills.
  6. Creative, open-minded, and positive attitude towards challenges.
  7. Ability to conduct independent research and pursue continuous improvement.
  8. Attention to detail and ownership of work.
  9. Effective communication skills to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Make conscientious decisions regarding information sharing, respecting security protocols.
  • Be available during regular business hours and respond promptly to urgent requests outside those hours.

Salary Range: $154,000 - $174,000
