What You’ll Do

Our global team seeks a commercially-minded Senior Data Scientist who can design and build solutions used in many markets worldwide. You will access diverse data sources to create and validate AI and ML models.

You will act as the Data Science business partner for North America, collaborating with Sales and Professional Services teams to understand and advise on customer Data Science needs. You will also work closely with Product and Technology teams to develop, improve, and innovate advanced analytical approaches within our software products.

This is a remote role, but the candidate must be based in the USA. Occasional travel may be required for team meet-ups and client meetings.

Your Responsibilities

1. Identify and source relevant data to build, calibrate, and deploy state-of-the-art models using the latest AI/ML technologies.
2. Understand client problems and design Data Science solutions that meet their business needs.
3. Partner with Engineering to integrate ML and AI solutions within Provenir products.
4. Interpret, document, and communicate solutions to stakeholders, including non-technical and senior management.
5. Contribute to future analytical strategies and product development.
6. Mentor and coach other Data Scientists to raise team standards.
7. Provide technical guidance to Sales, Pre-Sales, and Professional Services on Data Science opportunities across North America.

Your Skills and Strengths

1. At least 7 years of experience in a data science role, with hands-on experience in supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms.
2. Strong data wrangling and manipulation skills.
3. Domain experience in Fraud, Credit Risk Management, or Marketing analytics.
4. Excellent communication skills for team meetings and stakeholder interactions.
5. Initiative, quick learning, and adaptability to shifting priorities.

Preferred but not essential:

• Experience with B2B client-facing roles discussing ML products.
• Knowledge of MLOps practices (CI/CD, pipelines, containerization).
• Experience leading Data Science projects with teams.
