Mercury is seeking a Senior Data Science Manager to lead data science powering its revenue and product value engine. You will supervise a team embedded across go-to-market, growth, monetization, and core product experiences to inform decision making with rigorous experimentation.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to shape roadmaps, forecast revenue, and deliver trusted insights, balancing speed with analytical rigor in a dynamic fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
• 3+ years leading high-performing data teams.
• Deep experience in growth, monetization, and product analytics.
• Proven ability to partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
• Strong business judgment balancing rigor and speed.
• Expertise in experimentation design, attribution, and causal inference.
• Experience building scalable analytics frameworks and self-serve capabilities.
• Thrives in ambiguity with clear priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Data Scientists embedded across go-to-market, growth product, monetization, and core product experiences
• Define measurement and experimentation strategy across the customer lifecycle
• Elevate experimentation, pricing and monetization analytics, and commercial performance measurement
• Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to shape roadmaps and guide revenue forecasting
• Translate complex quantitative signals into clear insights
• Increase team leverage by building scalable analytics systems and self-serve capabilities
• Operate effectively in ambiguity, setting clear priorities
