Job summary

Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Science to lead advanced analytics initiatives within the Fraud Prevention and AML programs of FRM. You will shape strategic decisions by delivering AI-driven insights and scalable GenAI solutions, partnering with cross-functional teams to deploy models and governance frameworks.

The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and hands-on delivery, with a focus on responsible AI, model governance, and regulatory considerations in a finance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, machine learning, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience building GenAI and AI-powered solutions in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Lead the exploration, development and deployment of predictive modeling, ML, and GenAI solutions for fraud and AML.
• Partner with business and governance teams to identify high-value use cases for LLMs and RAG.
• Design and evaluate AI-assisted tools with governance and risk controls in mind.
• Drive cloud-based AI platforms and emerging tech to improve analyst productivity and outcomes.
• Communicate analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders to influence decisions.
