Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Product Manager for AI Data Strategy, Governance, and AI-enabled product development. You will shape data strategies, governance frameworks, and certification processes to advance Schwab’s enterprise AI maturity.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in data, analytics, artificial intelligence, technology, governance, product management, or related leadership disciplines.
5+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives involving data, AI, governance, technology transformation, or product delivery.
Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning concepts, and unstructured data along with the associated data requirements that enable successful AI outcomes.
Experience with data governance, metadata management, data lineage, data quality, privacy, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
Experience leading highly complex cross-functional programs across business and technology organizations.
Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into structured strategies, roadmaps, operating models, and execution plans.
Strong written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
Proven ability to influence decisions, build alignment, and drive outcomes without direct authority.
Ability to balance innovation, governance, scalability, and business value while operating in a fast-changing environment.
Experience supporting AI, generative AI, data management, governance, or platform initiatives within regulated financial services organizations.
Familiarity with enterprise metadata management, data cataloging, observability, lineage, and data quality platforms.
Experience working with cloud-based data and AI technologies such as GCP, BigQuery, Dataplex, Vertex AI, or similar platforms.
Experience with AI development lifecycle practices, model governance, or related governance processes.
Experience creating reusable data products, enterprise standards, frameworks, accelerators, or operating models.
Advanced degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Business, or a related field.
