Job summary

Delta Dental of Iowa is seeking a Data Reporting Analyst III to transform enterprise data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions and operational excellence. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to define data requirements and build scalable analytics solutions using Snowflake and Power BI.

You will act as a trusted advisor, promoting data literacy and governance while mentoring others in data, analytics, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Associate Degree or commensurate work experience in computer science, information systems, business, data analytics, or related field.
5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or reporting.
Experience with enterprise data warehouse and modern analytics platforms.
Strong SQL skills and large dataset querying.
Experience developing dashboards with Power BI or similar.
Excellent communication and ability to translate requirements.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, maintain analytics and reporting solutions using modern data platforms and visualization tools.
Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and self-service data solutions.
Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, risks, and insights.
Develop reusable analytics assets, dashboards, models, and visualizations.
Ensure accuracy and consistency with enterprise data standards.
