Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant to lead the implementation, modernization, and optimization of enterprise Data Protection environments. This client-facing role translates business and technical requirements into scalable, resilient solutions while delivering complex infrastructure projects.

You will work with cross-functional delivery teams, produce technical documentation, and travel to customer sites up to 50% to support deployments, migrations, and recoveries in diverse

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in enterprise Data Protection infrastructure delivery.
• Experience with Cohesity, Commvault, Rubrik, and Dell Data Protection suite.
• Experience with SAN implementation and interoperability analysis.
• Experience with cloud integrations across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex Data Protection issues across multi-site environments.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in client-facing delivery.
• Understanding of AI, VMware, Linux, Unix, and Windows OS.
• Strong presentation, diagramming, and storytelling skills.
• Expert in racking, stacking, and cabling hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure backup platforms for data protection.
• Lead deployment and modernization across data protection stacks.
• Coordinate across cross-functional delivery teams.
• Travel to customer sites up to 50%.
• Develop technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
