Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is hiring a Supervisory Program Specialist in Charleston, SC to collect, monitor and analyze data for the HCHV program and related housing and homeless services.

The role oversees staff, coordinates with multiple sites, and ensures compliance with program requirements. Telework may be authorized; the position reports to Mental Health Service Line leadership and focuses on improving outcomes for veterans experiencing homelessness through data-driven program

Qualifications

• Specialized experience with program analysis, data collection, and data management.
• Knowledge of healthcare programs regulation and oversight.
• Strong organizational and planning skills for coordinating multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise program staff including a GS-7 and GS-6 staff members and a driver.
• Develop relationships with program supervisors and clinical/administrative staff at locations.
• Ensure annual training is completed and data management/audits are conducted.
• Analyze data to identify gaps, plan improvements, and support program effectiveness.
