Calero seeks a Senior Data Product Owner to own and evolve its SaaS Management Platform. This data-intensive role focuses on usage, financial modelling, and turning data into decisive business insights.

You will advocate for customers, translate needs into stories, and collaborate with engineers to prototype solutions that address real problems. Expect leadership in workshops and pilots to drive early validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Product Owner in SaaS/B2B with data modelling, contracts, pricing, and usage.
• Experience ensuring financial figures are modelled accurately and delivering business value.
• Ability to read REST API documentation and configure basic automation/workflows.
• Experience gathering/prioritizing requirements, writing acceptance criteria, and validating against outcomes.
• Proven agile delivery with Scrum/Kanban/SAFe focusing on predictable, feedback-driven results.
• Bonus: FinOps, ITAM, SaaS financial management, or ERP integrations (e.g., NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Own and refine the product backlog, aligning features with business priorities and customer needs.
• Translate requirements into defined problems, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive ruthless value slicing to deliver small, high-impact increments.
• Maintain predictable delivery and transparent road mapping with alignment to roadmap.
• Define and validate financial data models to ensure accurate, actionable figures.
• Configure automation/tools (Make, n8n, Zapier) and read API specs to validate feasibility.
• Lead customer workshops, pilots, and proof-of-concepts for early feedback.
• Provide evidence to stakeholders that capabilities solve real business problems.
