Job summary

Michels Corporation is seeking a Staff Data Product Manager to shape the enterprise data strategy and lead the data products that deliver trusted, self-serve data across the organization.

As a founding leader on the Enterprise Intelligence team, you will guide the data platform's evolution, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure governance and scalability for analytics, reporting, and AI across the Michels Family of Companies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in data product management guiding cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience defining roadmaps, requirements, user stories, and success metrics.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, data quality, and data lineage.
• Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, BigQuery or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engage stakeholders across business and technology to surface pain points and opportunities.
• Prioritize high-value platform capabilities and decide which products to build.
• Define curated data products, including tables and semantic models across domains.
• Translate business needs into stories and acceptance criteria; guide engineering.
• Uphold quality standards so data assets are documented and self-serve friendly.
• Measure adoption and outcomes to validate value and plan next steps.
