Job summary

Grata is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Data, to advance data initiatives across the private markets platform. You will collaborate with engineering and data science to deliver high-quality datasets, ensure data accuracy, freshness, and availability, and drive customer value through data-driven roadmaps.

You will partner with commercial teams, conduct user research, and translate complex data concepts into actionable requirements while navigating a fast-paced startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience developing a strategic vision and product roadmap for data initiatives.
• Experience partnering across all levels of an organization to influence work.
• Experience in startup or high-ambiguity environment with complex stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with data to inform decisions, SQL proficiency; Python/R a plus.
• Knowledge of data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines and governance.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools and how they shape feasible products.
• Interest in an office-centric culture with a flexible work environment.
• [Bonus] Private capital markets domain knowledge.
• [Bonus] Experience as data scientist/engineer/analyst.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer needs via research and data analysis.
• Develop strategic roadmaps with milestones and measurable metrics.
• Collaborate with ML, data science, design, engineering, QA, and product marketing to ship roadmaps.
• Prioritize initiatives with data-driven approach to maximize value.
• Create detailed requirements from customer conversations and usage data.
• Establish credibility and ownership as go-to product area expert.
• Communicate with cross-functional and exec stakeholders to align the organization.
