Job summary

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking a Senior Data Privacy Associate to lead the Office of Employee Benefits (OEB) privacy program in Newark, NJ. You will manage local privacy risk, coordinate PII inventories, and advise business areas on data privacy practices while collaborating with Information Security and OEB teams.

The role requires extensive privacy experience, the ability to train staff, and the delivery of local procedures aligned with System standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience preferred.
• Five+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and leads local implementation of the System privacy program and drafts local procedures.
• Consults with business areas on PII collection, use, sharing, and minimization.
• Manages local PII inventory, risk assessments, and privacy risk reduction efforts.
• Monitors and manages OEB compliance with the privacy program.
• Provides local data privacy training to OEB staff and management.
• Offers advice on data privacy standards applicability and monitors Bank compliance with the System framework.
• Supports Privacy Officer with local data privacy incident response.
• Coordinates vendor privacy assessment efforts.
• Leads System-wide privacy workgroups to mature privacy practices.
• Identifies, measures, monitors, and reports on vendor risks.
