Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta in Newark, NJ is seeking a Benefits Plans Manager to lead the Office of Employee Benefits team overseeing health and welfare programs. The role focuses on vendor management, data-driven decision making, and continuous process improvement across System benefits.

You will coach staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and present findings to oversight committees and senior stakeholders, delivering high-impact projects and strategic benefit design recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams through change.
• Knowledge of benefits programs and regulatory considerations is a plus.
• Ability to use data to drive benefit plan decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serves as coach and support to those accountable for vendor management responsibilities for System-wide benefits programs.
• Ensures self and team maintain current knowledge of and relevant certifications in legal, regulatory, plan compliance and changes for System benefits.
• Uses data to regularly recommend benefit plan strategies, evaluation of plan design changes, cost and participant impact.
• Lead continuous improvement in process and identify policy enhancements and opportunities to offer appropriate benefits backage to the Federal Reserve System.
• Develop and lead presentations for oversight committees and Reserve Bank and Board of Governors stakeholders.
• Lead high-visibility projects with measurable outcomes.
