Job summary

CDW's Focal Point Data Risk privacy team seeks a data privacy consultant to lead risk assessments, privacy audits, and training for clients across regulated industries. You will assess practices, map data flows, and support DPIAs while coordinating with cross‑functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in privacy consulting, strong regulatory knowledge (HIPAA, GDPR, GLBA, NIST), and relevant certifications. Travel regionally/internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a Data Privacy consulting role or related field.
• Experience interpreting international, federal, and state privacy and security regulations.
• Experience performing privacy and/or security gap assessments, data maps and inventories, and Impact Assessments.
• Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
• Certifications: CIPP, CISSP, OneTrust.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client privacy risk assessments and privacy audits.
• Review privacy and cybersecurity practices and conduct periodic assessments.
• Provide privacy training and awareness in client engagements or internal workshops.
• Review client privacy incidents and coordinate or lead incident/breach management.
• Assist clients in creating data maps, inventories, and Records of Processing Activities.
• Perform DPIAs, PIA, and Transfer Impact Assessments.
• Interact with clients and colleagues to foster strong working relationships.
