Datavant is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Data & ML Platform team. You’ll operate and improve Databricks and Snowflake platforms, own their lifecycle, and collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and apps engineers to keep data workflows secure and scalable.

You’ll design reliable, cost-conscious cloud infrastructure across AWS, advance observability with Datadog, and lead CI/CD for data pipelines using GitHub Actions and Terraform.

Formación

• 6+ years in SRE, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on Databricks experience including cluster/job management.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native infrastructure on AWS or similar.
• Proven observability experience with Datadog and monitoring solutions.
• Strong CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions and IaC (Terraform).
• Experience with data pipelines, ML workflows, and data orchestration tools.
• Experience with highly available, fault-tolerant systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and improve Databricks and Snowflake platforms lifecycle, including automation, governance, job orchestration, and cost optimization.
• Design reliable, scalable infrastructure across cloud environments; plan for failover and autoscaling.
• Advance platform observability with monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions; define SLOs/SLAs.
• Drive CI/CD for data pipelines and ML workloads using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and related IaC.
• Enable data flow across platforms (Snowflake, S3, Delta Lake, Kafka).
• Champion event-driven architectures using cloud-native tools (EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Lambda).
• Collaborate as the SRE and platform partner across analytics, data science, and product teams.
• Contribute to data platform architecture and ML enablement strategy.
