Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions in Lutz, FL is seeking an Enterprise Data & Platform Security Analyst to protect data across endpoints, networks, cloud, and platforms, designing and operating data protection controls. The role collaborates across Security, Infrastructure, Legal, Privacy and business teams to reduce data loss risk, improve governance, comply with regulations, and strengthen security posture.

Hybrid work requires 3 onsite days and 1 remote day.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles: confidentiality, integrity, availability
• Strong knowledge of data protection, networking, OS, cloud fundamentals
• Experience with SIEM, DLP, or endpoint monitoring tools
• Ability to investigate complex security incidents and document findings

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale data protection strategies across on‑premises, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments
• Define policy architecture, control objectives, and implementation patterns for data protection
• Drive roadmap planning, vendor evaluations, and continuous improvement for data protection platforms
• Define secure architecture patterns and guardrails for Kubernetes, containers, IaC pipelines
• Lead incident investigations and coordinate remediation across teams
• Lead security assessments for enterprise platforms, cloud environments, databases, middleware
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into practical technical controls and governance
