Job summary

Going is hiring a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead a cross-functional team of senior Data and Backend Engineers. You’ll own the charter and roadmap for how Going acquires, pipelines, and engineers high-quality datasets that power Going’s core products.

This role reports to the VP of Product. The position emphasizes building a resilient, scalable data platform and turning data into a product that downstream teams can build on without re-solving it themselves.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of product management experience in data platforms or data products.
• Experience reading API specs, writing SQL, and understanding JSON/XML schemas, with architecture discussions at senior engineer level.
• Exposure to data quality, normalization, or golden dataset patterns.
• Experience establishing measurement baselines before re-architecting or setting targets.

Responsibilities

• Own data acquisition strategy and data processing roadmap for new system development.
• Establish baseline measurements across data funnel: coverage, pipeline health, data quality.
• Drive architecture for a durable, observable, single-record data system.
• Make data usable and adaptive to market trends and consumer demand.
• Serve internal customers with a trusted data source for downstream teams.
