Job summary

Going, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own the data platform roadmap, leading a cross-functional team of senior Data and Backend Engineers.

You will shape how the company acquires, pipelines, and engineers high-quality datasets powering Going’s core products, reporting to the VP of Product. You will build resilience and data diversification, turning data into a reusable product for internal teams, while driving a durable, governed system architecture and vendor

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work US-hours.
• 5–8+ years of product management experience focused on data platforms or data products.
• Systems & Data Fluency: comfortable with API specs, SQL, JSON/XML schemas, and data architecture discussions.
• Experience establishing measurement baselines before re-architecting or targeting metrics.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and cost-vs-coverage tradeoffs.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while shipping durable, well-governed systems.
• Clear async-first communicator across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of data acquisition strategy and processing roadmap.
• Establish baseline measurements for data funnel health and quality.
• Drive architecture for a durable, observable single-record system.
• Make data usable and adaptive to market trends and demand.
• Serve internal customers with a trusted data source for downstream teams.
• In the long term, diversify data acquisitions and onboard new sources.
• Turn data caches into plug-and-play foundations for future data sources.
