Job summary

The AES Group is seeking a strategic Senior Manager, Enterprise Data to drive governance, scalable data products, and platform adoption across enterprise domains. You will lead Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Domain Enablement, and Data Governance while partnering with senior leaders to set roadmaps and delivery plans.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI, or Data Architecture.
• 3+ years leading and developing technical teams for data platforms or enterprise data delivery.
• Experience managing complex delivery portfolios across multiple domains.
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture, lakehouse, and governed access.
• Hands-on with Databricks lakehouse capabilities including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Ability to translate business objectives into actionable roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Cross-functional collaboration across business, software, cloud, security, governance, and enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise data strategy into actionable roadmaps and measurable delivery outcomes.
• Lead a multidisciplinary organization spanning Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Domain Enablement, and Data Governance.
• Establish delivery practices for planning, prioritization, capacity management, risk escalation, and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee data-platform onboarding, source-system integration, data-product development, semantic enablement, and governance initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate use cases, clarify requirements, and establish realistic delivery commitments.
• Balance short-term priorities with long-term investments in reusable, governed data foundations.
