Job summary

Acushnet Company seeks a Senior Lead Software Developer to drive data platform initiatives across global direct-to-consumer platforms. Lead design, development, and maintenance of complex apps in Snowflake or Databricks, using Python and SQL, while championing best practices and Agile delivery.

You will mentor developers, guide architecture, collaborate with business teams, and influence technology standards to ensure reliable, scalable solutions with strong testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years in systems engineering and software development.
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
• Proven experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with middleware, APIs, and integration frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, databases, and analytics solutions.
• Performance optimization experience.
• Good understanding of ERP and CRM systems.
• Strong leadership and team mentoring abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Skilled at translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
• Deep knowledge of modern application architectures and development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile).
• SQL-based BI analytics background and Python proficiency required.

Responsibilities
