Job summary

Built is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Data to lead our growing data organization. You will guide a high-impact team building a holistic real estate data engine powering analytics, decisioning, and self-serve analytics across the platform.

You will set technical direction, grow talent, and deliver durable data systems at scale, partnering with Product, Analytics, and Engineering to drive outcomes with a hands-on, player-coach leadership style.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering management leading fast-growing teams.
• Direct experience leading a data engineering or data platform team.
• Proven ability to scale teams and systems through hiring, process, architecture, and delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, or Sigma (deep experience in at least one).
• Experience building modern data platforms, including ELT, modeling layers, governance, and self-serve analytics.
